A JOURNEY OF FAITH IN THE HOLYLAND

DAY 1 Meet at Mumbai Chhatrapati International Airport, Board flight to Jordan. Proceed to Jordan. Arrive in Amman, meet by our Jordanian representative. You will be transfer to visit we will visit Madaba and Mount Nebo. The trip south of Amman along the 5,000 years old King's Highway is one of the most memorable journeys in the Holy Land, passing through a string of ancient sites. The first city along the way from the north is Madaba, "the City of Mosaics" which has been intermittently inhabited for nearly 3,500 years. The chief attraction in this city is a wonderfully vivid, six-century Byzantine mosaic map showing Jerusalem and other holy sites; there are also literally hundreds of other mosaics scattered throughout Madaba's churches and homes. Ten minutes to the west is Mount Nebo, the memorial of Moses, and the presumed site of the prophet's death and burial place. Amman
DAY 2 Transfer from Sheikh Hussein to Tiberias. We visit Cana where Jesus performed his first Miracle, changing water into wine at the wedding feast. Then on to Nazareth, the boyhood town of Jesus and home of Mary and Joseph and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation built over the grotto where Angel Gabriel appeared to announce that she would bear a son, Jesus. We also stop by Joseph's workshop. Visit Capernaum - the center Jesus' ministry after he left Nazareth we stop at Tabgha - the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes and the expressive Mount of the Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount. We make a brief halt at St. Peter's house, the Church of Primacy of Peter and the place where Jesus bestowed St. Peter with his authority. This is believed to be the place where Jesus dined with his disciples. The flat rock known as Mensa Christ of Christ's table commemorates this event. We visit Kibbutz Ginnosar, to see Museum where Jesus time boat is kept. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Tiberias/Nazareth
DAY 3 We visit Mount Tabor, We proceed then to Baptism Site. In the afternoon we drive through the landscapes of Galilee and later for a ride in a replica of a Galilean fishing boat of that time, on the Sea of Galilee and where Jesus calmed the storm and walked on the water. Tiberias/Nazareth
DAY 4 Today we travel onwards to Haifa, Israel's largest port city, built on the slopes of Mt. Carmel. View the famous Persian Hanging Gardens for a view of the Bahai Shrine. We then drive towards Jaffa, here St. Peter worked the Miracle of raising Tabitha to life and here he had vision in which God invited him to gather also the Gentiles to the bosom of the church. Then continue to the village of Emmaus was the setting for one of the most touching of Christ’s post-Resurrection appearances. Transfer to hotel in Bethlehem for dinner and overnight. Bethlehem
DAY 5 We start in the morning by visit the Mt of Olives to the Church of Ascension, which commemorates the assents of Jesus to heaven, the Paternoster church, according to tradition, here's the cave where Jesus brought his decuples and spoke to them about the mystery of the end. Then continue to the panoramic view of Mt. of Olives for and from there, by foot to Dominos Flavit where Jesus wept over eminent destruction of Jerusalem. The chapels are built in the shape of a tear as a poignant reminder to this event, and then visit the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed while Judah betrayed him to the Romans. Visit the basilica of agony. We then go to the pools of Beit Hasda, where Jesus held the crippled man. And from there we take the Via Dolorosa (Way of Grief), traditionally accepted as the last route trodden by Jesus. Follow the 14 Stations of the Cross to Golgotha, the place where Jesus was crucified marking significant events along the route. You will see the Pilate's Judgments Hall, the Chapel of the Flagellation where, according to tradition, the Roman soldiers scourged Jesus and placed a crown of thorns on His head the Ecce Homo Arch. The last 4 Stations of the Cross are inside the Church of the Holy Sepulcher visible from the distance, wish is two silver domes. Also "The Tomb" widely believed to be part of the stone that covered Jesus Tomb. In the afternoon, we go through the Jewish quarter to the Wailing Wall, which is the holiest place for the Jewish religion. We then visit the Garden Tomb. Onto Bethlehem, It was here that the angel announced the birth of Jesus to the shepherds of Bethlehem during the reign of King Herod. Also, here David tended his flocks until he was anointed King of Israel. Visit the Church of Nativity and the Manger Square, view the Shepherds Fields. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight. DAY 6 Today morning after breakfast we'll visit to Ein Karem - the city of Judah and birthplace of John the Baptist, son of Elizabeth & Zechariah and the Church of Visitation. We then visit Mt Zion the cynical, the room for the last supper and King David's Tomb. We also visit the church of St. Peter Gallicantu the site where Jesus was imprisoned by the High Priest before he was turned over to the Romans and the church of Dormition. We visit Bethany, the town of Mary, Martha and Lazarus. Visit the Lazarus tomb. We then cross the Judean Desert passing via Jericho, the oldest city in the world the believed to be the oldest city on earth, and viewing on route Mt. Quarantal, where Jesus spent 40 days when Satan tried to tempt him. We then descend to Dead Sea the lowest point on earth (1305 ft. below sea level); visit Qumran caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Make a stop at a private beach and take the opportunity to float in the salty buoyant water, rich in minerals (towels and swim necessary). Return back to hotel for overnight and dinner. Bethlehem
DAY 7 After check out you will be transfer via the beautiful Arava road to Taba border located at the Red Sea city of Eilat. On the way we stop to see the Lots Wife status. After arrival at Taba border and after all the formalities you will meet with our Egyptian representative. Transfer to St. Catherine for dinner and overnight. Sinai
DAY 8 After breakfast and checkout at the hotel we will visit St. Catherine Monastery, one of the world’s religious pilgrimage centers for over 15 centuries to see the Burning Bush and Moses well. We enroute make a brief stop at Elim, Rephidim and Marah. Transfer via Suez canal to your hotel in Cairo for dinner and overnight Cairo
DAY 9 After breakfast and check out visit the Pyramids and the Sphinx. We drive to visit the Coptic Churches in Cairo. In the evening we take you to the Nile Cruise. Cairo
DAY 10 Transfer to International Airport for your final flight.
